By choosing a product with Eco-score A or B in the store, you save points in your Xtra app. You can redeem those points to support a Belgian charity. Or you can attend a free lecture/webinar at Colruyt Group Academy on how to live an eco-conscious life.
With this initiative, we want to give you the chance to make an extra, tangible impact with the Eco-score. It allows you to make an eco-conscious choice, while also supporting a Belgian charity: a local environmental project or a training programme for young people in vulnerable situations. This way, you do good twice. Together, we contribute to a more sustainable world, step by step.

How can you redeem your points?
You can redeem your points in the Xtra app to support a Belgian charity, such as social projects that help young people in vulnerable situations:
- to improve their language skills
- to boost their self-confidence
- by giving them some future prospects
You can also use your points to get a €7 discount at Colruyt Group Academy for a workshop or a free lecture/webinar on how to live an eco-conscious life. You are provided with solutions and tips that are feasible for you.

A classroom debate workshop boosts young people’s self-confidence and shares effective methods with their teacher.
Young people in vulnerable situations participate in summer activities that improve their school language skills. It provides them with a smoother start to the new school year.
Debateville organises a weekly after-school programme to support young people in vulnerable situations.
Odyssée proactively engages with school dropouts and accompanies them back to school or some kind of training.
Odyssée’s group workshops encourage young people to take back control of their lives.

At all Colruyt, Okay, Spar and Bio-Planet stores. Even if you shop online via Collect&Go, you can save points by selecting products with Eco-score A and B. The points automatically appear in your Xtra app.

You receive one point for every product with Eco-score A or B.

You can find the Eco-score on the packaging of many of our private label food products. You can also consult the Eco-score for a particular product in the Xtra app via Product info.

In your Xtra app, under Profile > Save points, you can see how many points you have collected and used so far. To redeem your points, select a project or workshop and choose how many points you want to assign. You can combine as you please.
You can also see the total number of points used for a certain initiative, together with its impact (e.g. number of trees planted, youngsters trained, etc.).

Yes, your points are valid for six months. Points earned in the month of June 2024, for example, can be used until the end of December 2024. You can save up to 150 points per receipt.

Yes. Based on a thorough process, we have selected partners who we will work with closely for this initiative. We have clear agreements on the intended impact and on reporting the project's progress. We will also share this information consistently and transparently through our communication channels.
